Overview:
Forecasting in Excel uses What-If Analysis and Solver to analyze different scenarios and find optimal outcomes.
What-If Analysis includes Scenario Manager, which allows you to create and store different sets of input values to compare against each other, and Goal Seek, which finds the input needed to achieve a specific result. Solver, an add-in, is used for complex optimization, allowing you to find the maximum or minimum value of a cell while adhering to set constraints.
This webinar will show how to forecast using the tools built into Excel.
